For Ki

Test it before you sell it.

This page helps you keep simple safety records for every KiCandles product. If a candle burns badly, drips too much, smokes, tips over or needs better labelling, it should not be sold as a burnable candle yet.

Important: This is not boring adult paperwork. It is how you prove you were careful, sensible and honest before selling something people may light at home.

What Ki needs to remember

Safe first, pretty second.

Beautiful candles are only ready to sell when they are labelled, traceable and tested. A failed test is not embarrassing — it is proof you are taking the business seriously.

  • 1Burn test the shape.Watch for tipping, wax flooding, high flame, smoke, cracking or unsafe melting.
  • 2Check the label.Every candle needs safety instructions and a batch code. Scented candles may also need CLP wording from the fragrance supplier.
  • 3Be honest. If it cannot burn safely, sell it clearly as decorative only or do not sell it yet.
  • 4Ask an adult.Insurance, public selling, fragrance documents and customer problems must involve an adult.
Do not mark a candle as passed just because it looks nice. If something feels unsafe, write it down, change it, and test again.
